39 weeks pregnant, frequent braxton hicks and pressure in vagina?
I'm 39 weeks pregnant today and have been experiencing quite strong braxton hicks contractions. They don't seem to be in any regular pattern or anything but seem a lot stronger than usual (not painful just makes my stomach go rock hard). Also I've been getting the feeling of pressure in my vagina and the need to go for a wee but not actually being able to go. Is this a sign of labour? Thanks.
Best Answer:
When the pain comes every 5 to 7 minutes or less and last for about 1 to 1 and a half minutes, call your doctor and head to the hospital if told so. Keep track of time on the contractions. You'll know when its time I promise!! I was in labor for 22 hours!! Good Luck!!

Not positive but I think that when your stomach goes rock hard thats not usually braxton its a true contraction....and the peeing thing is possibly the babys head putting pressure on your bladder. Sounds like your getting close.
