39 weeks pregnant!! I want this baby out. Any suggestions?

I'm tired of being pregnant. I am 39 weeks today! I'm sooo swollen from my face, feet and hands basically my whole body! I'm always tired I tried walking for an hour last night! but kept getting tired does any one know how I can start my get contrations going so this baby can get out of me!! I'm on my 3rd child but I never went through this with my other two!! This ones just hell!! HELP PLEEEASE!!!!!

Walk - Walk up every hill, just keep walking. Castor Oil too, that worked for my best friend twice. mix it with OJ though, it taste horrible

At 39 weeks you should be able to be induced. Did you ask your doctor? My baby was born 1 week overdue and I didn't even know until afterward that if I had just asked, my doctor would have induced me starting at 39 weeks.

A little of the same thing that got you into this situation can sometimes start the process....

Walking, sex, and Benadryl. Benadryl acts like piticon on a uterus. Don't take more than the recommended dose though! Good luck

Nipple stimulation, sex, a hot bath, castor oil (which is disgusting to ingest, but you can rub it on your belly as well)...

Check with your doctor and he/she will tell you to sex tha child out. I'm sure hubby/boyfireind won't mind. Believe me, it works!

I tried everything under the sun...sex, walking miles and miles, spicy food, orgasms. One day I used my breast pump for a couple minutes. I immediately started having contractions and a few hours later was in full blown labor. She was 8 days early :)

I've heard that getting a pedicure can cause you to go into labor. I can't remember which it is, but it's either a nerve or a muscle that will relax and cause you to have contractions. Not sure if it works or not, I just know I wasn't allowed to have pedicures when I was pregnant.

Hi, me too, I'm also 39 weeks pregnant and can't wait for the whole pregnancy thing to be over. I've still got morning sickness too : ( I'm spending my time cleaning our new house (we just got the keys) and trying to be as active as my poor, tired and very bloated body will allow. I WANT MY BODY BACK!!!! The whole pregnancy experience has been horrible from start to end. Good luck xxx
